Ooooh. What a rush. What a relief. It’s over. For now. This last week of school was all about squeezing out those last ounces of effort. Our school Christmas party was on Friday, and it was coupled with a graduation program for one of our students who graduated mid-year.

I think the day was a great success. There were probably about twenty adults there, combined with our twenty five students. It was quite a crowd! Santa Clause was there and presents were passed out to all the kids. This was followed by a full afternoon of cleaning up and packing away the Christmas decorations for next year. Now it’s time to get packing for our long haul to Texas. And I’m exhausted.
