Haiku on a Monday morning

Sitting at my desk
Waiting for coffee to work

Many students from across our district are gathering together today in Fort Yukon for an annual ski meet with other academic and not-so-academic activities. I will be teaching Haiku to elementary students. Ahh, the unbridled creativity of children. We'll see how it goes...

We live our way, and sometimes we forget that the Lord is in charge of our destinies. We pray, and asked Him to lead the way, but we then go on doing what we want. It is hard to say whether we are hearing His voice in our minds and hearts or is it our human frailties and will. With that in mind Brian, continue to work your best for the good of the kids, and rise above the ashes to be what the Lord wants you to be, so all may know that you are His children and true lover of all humankind. We love you, we pray for you and our thoughts are always with you.
