We are here in Fairbanks waiting for little Alexa to be born. While we are waiting, Stephanie and I are staying at the same little apartment complex at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, where we lived last summer while waiting for Jacob. It is in a nice, woodsy little hillside neighborhood with many families with children. Being here again brings back so many memories of last summer and waiting for Jacob. It was a really good time in our lives, as is this. Last Sunday, we visited a church that we had visited last summer, but had not been back to since. As Stephanie and I stood in our row singing familiar praise choruses, we both had that feeling of “didn’t we just do this?” Stephanie was even wearing the same blouse she wore to the same church a year before with her big pregnant belly. We can’t believe we’re doing all of this again. And next summer?? Well… one baby at a time.
