A wedding is a festive occasion marking the beginning of a FAMILY unit. It is strange that people would put such a restriction to it.

That is just weird. I have not ever heard of doing that at a wedding. I thought you just sorta hope that anyone who brings their kiddos has the good sense and ability to keep their kids under control or choose which parts of the wedding are appropriate for kids their ages to attend. And "under 12?" come on! That is a pretty high age. Sorry you won't be able to attend...but at least you were given the warning. Woudl def suck to show and be told go home. ha

Believe it or not, Dear, the wedding couple probably cannot imagine that there might still be charming, calm, well-groomed, well-behaved children left in the world! They have probably only experienced ADHD and ADD super-charged-up wildcats. Your children would have amazed and charmed everyone in attendance.
