Note to Self
Today was family day at the Tanana Valley State Fair in Fairbanks: lots of events planned for young children, so Stephanie and Jamiee took the boys. Someone had the idea to have the fire department out to the fair, fill the fire hoses with candy, and then blast the candy out the hose with the full force of the engine’s water pressure sending a shower of candy raining over all the giddy children. Sounds like a good idea in theory. Stephanie said the water pressure was so great that all of the pieces were stripped of their wrappers and bare pieces of candy fell to the ground in wet candy shards. Plus it’s been raining since forever, so I don’t think the candy-in-the-fire-hose thing went over so well. Someone somewhere is making a note on a list of things to do differently next year.

Love you the most,
Mom
I will definitely steer clear of the candy out of the firehoses at the graduation next week.
it almost what i had in mind when i was doing a missionary work in southern mexico thinking of not coming back to the states with the work team,
all i want just stay in a simple place to live.
well, glad you all doing good in the new place,
