While starting the snowmachine, I dropped Jacob in the snow for a minute. He loved it.

Jacob loves to pull up to the stereo and crank up that big volume knob all the way up. He's a rocker already!

... and he's a reader already, too. His books are on a shelf at his level, and he likes to pull them off and flip through them. Or chew on them.

So... don't think that we do this everyday. We've had talks about how much TV the boy can have, and have pretty much settled on none. But sometimes, when nothing else will do... And as you can see the boy is zoned. It's like he's stoned. Nothing distracts him.

Stephanie was reaching for a knife to cut a sliver of bananna bread for him, when he decided he wanted all of it.

One of his favorite activities is standing in the window and looking out at the snowy world. I think he likes the feel of the cold glass with all of the wet condensation. He puts his whole face against it and then slides down the glass, and then repeats.
