An annual event in Fairbanks, teams and individuals from all over the world come to compete in the single block or multi block ice carving competitions.

An ice slide with lights embedded underneath. Kids were having a great time sliding down.

This frog had a long ice tounge reaching out for a fly, but it broke off.

Since we were there before the end of the competition, we got to see the carvers working, but didn't get to see the final finished product. It was the better end of the trade off.
